Is it really all that big a deal?
Think about your own experience of going to a restaurant or a shop. How more likely are we to share a negative experience about some place than we are a positive experience?
Once again, we are twice as likely to tell people about the negative experience. Now take that and think about our words when we comment or critique someone’s musical ability.
